Each course has been designed to meet the needs of the evolving field of Early Childhood Education. Child Care Council of Suffolk offers early care and education professionals a wide range of classes based on topics that influence, guide, and reflect on the multitude of responsibilities and ethics involved with caring for young children and their families. Each workshop meets the requirements for NYS Office of Children and Family Services licensing, the NYS Core Body of Knowledge, and the Child Development Associate Competency Areas. Classes are held in Commack, Riverhead, on-site when requested, as well as virtually through Zoom. Please review the course offerings below to find a class you are interested in and to register. The list of courses is updated monthly so please be sure to check in from time to time! The course location will be provided in the description. We encourage you to not only explore the general course offerings and infant toddler course offerings, but to also review the array of services that are offered within the Professional Development Department.
